If your mailing address changes after submitting the preliminary application, you must inform the Section 8 office.
- You're placed on the waitlist by the date and time of your application and preference.
- You MUST save your login ID and Password!! You will need them to
- check the status of your application. Do Not Call or email The Johnson County Section 8 office for the status of your application.
The online application portal will be available 24 hours a day during the waiting list open.
You will be contacted by mail when your name comes to the top of the waiting list. You must verify your income, social security cards, birth certificates, and picture IDs at that time.
