Disaster Relief Housing Application Notice

Effective immediately, Rock Island Housing Authority (RIHA) and its non-profit partner Community Home Partners (CHP) are providing notice that we will be accepting housing applications to meet the urgent needs of the individuals and families affected by disaster displacement in Rock Island County, Illinois and Scott County, Iowa.

Disastrous displacement individuals and families are defined as those who were displaced due to traumatic events such as a natural disaster (tornado, hurricane, fire, flood, earthquake, etc.) and/or building disaster (infrastructure failure, structural damage, health hazard conditions, etc.).

If you have lived in the above-mentioned counties and have been affected, please select the Disaster Relief application on the next page.

The online application portal will be available 24 hours a day while there are open waiting lists. After you have successfully applied, you should print the confirmation of application that appears on the last page of the process. You may also receive a confirmation via email if an email address is provided. If you do not have an e-mail account, you will have the opportunity to create one while completing the application.

The following waiting lists are currently open:

• 1 Bedroom Public Housing for Spencer Towers (1-2 Person Households) - Applicants that qualify for 1 Bedroom housing at Spencer Towers will be eligible for a free first month of rent and a waived security deposit!
• 1 Bedroom Two Rivers Point (1-2 Person households)

The following waiting lists will be closing at the below dates and times:

• 1 & 2 Bedroom Voss Brothers Lofts Project Based Voucher (1-4 Person households) - Will be closing on Friday, February 7th, 2025 at 4:00pm

The following waiting lists will be opening at the below dates and times:

• 2 Bedroom Cascade Garden - Will be opening on Monday, February 10th, 2025 at 8:00am
