Welcome to the Ripley County Public Housing Agency Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Section 8 Pre-Application

The Ripley County Public Housing Agency will accept applications for the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Waiting List beginning Monday, August 3, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Applications will be accepted through Friday, August 7, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

Applications may be submitted online or delivered to the office. All applications must be received by 4:00 p.m. on August 7, 2026. Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.

Income Limits

To be eligible to apply, your annual gross household income must not exceed the following limits:

• Completing a pre-application does not obligate you in any way.
• Submitting a pre-application does not guarantee that you will receive a Housing Choice Voucher or be placed on the waiting list.
• Please complete all sections of the pre-application. Incomplete applications may delay processing or prevent your application from being submitted.
• There is no fee to apply. The Ripley County Public Housing Agency will never charge a fee to submit a pre-application or to be placed on the waiting list.
• Beware of fraudulent websites or individuals claiming they can guarantee housing assistance or charge a fee to apply. Only submit your application through the Ripley County Public Housing Agency's official application process.
• All correspondence regarding your application will be sent by U.S. Mail. It is your responsibility to notify the Ripley County Public Housing Agency of any mailing address changes.
