The Hickory Housing Authority's is currently taking applications for the Mainstream Voucher Program. You must qualify under all the criteria:
o Between the age of 18 and not yet 62 years old, disabled and experienceing homelessness
o Previously experienced homelessness and currently a client of permanent supportive housingor rapid rehousing persons who are transitioning out of institutional or segregate setting.
o At risk of institutionalization, at risk of homelessness.
To apply online you will need to create an account. Paper applications are available at the Housing’s Authority’s office at 841 S. Center St Hickory NC 28602. Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30AM – 5 PM. This application does not guarantee placement on the waitlist.

If you move after submitting the application, it is your responsibility to submit a Change form, which is available at the Hickory Housing Authority office or online at: www.hickoryhousing.org If we are unable to contact you at the address provided, you will be removed from the Waiting List.
