The City of Peekskill Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program Waitlist is currently open from September 11, 2023 at 9:00 am. ET to September 15, 2023 at 11:59 pm. ET. To apply online you will need to create an account. Applications will only be accepted online.
The final waitlist will be determined by preference, date and time. Placement on the waitlist could be for up to 5 to 10 years. Being placed on the waitlist does not guarantee immediate housing and you could be waiting for an extended long period. We do not offer emergency housing.
Applicants on the waiting list will be considered for the following preferences:
Persons with disabilities
Seniors (62+ years of age)
Veteran
Resident of the City of Peekskill
Resident of Westchester County
The City of Peekskill Section 8 HCV Program has established these local preferences and applicants will be required to provide documentation for any preferences applied to your household when your name is reached.
If you move after submitting the preliminary application, it is your responsibility to submit a Waitlist Update Form, which is available at the City of Peekskill Section 8 HCV Program office located at 840 Main Street, Peekskill, NY 10566.
If we are unable to contact you at the address provided, you will be removed from the Waiting List.
