Welcome to the Butler Metropolitan Housing Authority Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Pre-Application.
You may submit a pre-application for the following waiting lists:
2024 Congregate Housing: Congregate
housing is intended for use by elderly persons or persons with disabilities. A congregate
housing facility contains a shared central kitchen and dining area and a
private living area
for the individual household that includes at least a living room, bedroom and
bathroom. Food service for residents must be provided.
2022 YWCA of Hamilton Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH): project based vouchers for the new YWCA Property located on Grand Boulevard in Hamilton, Ohio.
2019 Grove Street Project Based Voucher-(Permanent Supportive Housing): project based vouchers for the Grove Street property located on Grove Street in Middletown, Ohio.
BMHA will have an ongoing waiting list for the 2022 YWCA of Hamilton PSH, 2019 HCV Shared Housing List, and the 2019 Grove Street Project Based Voucher list. Anyone applying for any of these programs will be placed on the requested waiting lists.
When is the Pre-Application Period?
The Project Based Voucher Waiting List for the YWCA of Hamilton Permanent Supportive Housing Program will begin August 8, 2022 and will remain open until further notice.
The Pre-Application Period for the Shared Housing Waiting List and the Grove Street Project Based Voucher Waiting Lists will begin at 8:00am on Monday, November 4, 2019 and will continue to be accepted until further notice.
All Pre-applications will only be accepted ONLINE.
Pre-Applications will be accepted online only at
www.waitlistcheck.com/OH777. The pre-application link will work on computers, laptops, tablets, and on smart phones. Only one application per person may be submitted. Duplicates will be rejected. Pre-applications will not be accepted at BMHA offices. Only pre-applications submitted through the online portal will be accepted.
Computer access will not be available at BMHA offices.
Information needed to apply: Names, birth dates, citizenship information, social security numbers (if applicable), income information for all household members (including government benefits received).
