Welcome to the waiting list application site for the Oshkosh and Winnebago County Housing Authority. Our office in located at 1100 W. 20th Ave. Oshkosh Wisconsin. The Oshkosh/Winnebago County Housing Authority (HA) provides affordable, income-based rental housing opportunities to qualified families throughout Winnebago County in northeastern Wisconsin. HA housing is available to low to moderately-low income families, seniors, and persons with disabilities. Residents generally pay about 30% of household income for rent and utilities. All housing is smoke-free.
There are no fees associated with applying to the waiting list for the Oshkosh/Winnebago County Housing Authority.
You will only need to register once. Duplicate registrations will be rejected. To apply, you will need information on all members of the household, including name, date of birth, social security number, and amounts and sources of household income.
Persons without access to a computer or the internet can use the computer located in our office lobby at 1100 W. 20th Ave., Oshkosh WI 54903. Our main office hours are 9:00 am-4:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and by appointment only on Friday.
It is your responsibility to keep the information we have current, as this information may affect the status of your application.
The length of the waiting lists varies based on the site/program, preferences and available funding or available unit size. When your name nears the top of any wait list, we will send you a letter in the mail to invite you to interview for your final application, also known as an intake meeting. Until the final application interview invite, we will be unable to provide you information regarding where you rank on the waitlist and how long your wait may be.
