There are no open waiting lists at this time.
The Section 8 waiting lists that had been open from November 5-November 9, 2018, are currently closed. A random lottery of the 5,626 applicants was completed to determine placement on the waiting list for the 1500 openings on the Housing Choice Voucher waiting list and the 700 openings for the 3 Bedroom Project Based Voucher waiting list.
You can check your status on the lists by going to www.waitlistcheck.com. If it shows your status as “Active” then you made it through the lottery and are on the list. If it shows your status as “Inactive”, you are not on the waiting list.
Please do not call the HRA for status information. If your legal or mailing address changes, you must notify the HRA at hrawaitinglist@BloomingtonMN.gov or in writing at the above address to maintain your waiting list status.
